Appearance: Pansy is lithe, a waif, really. She has pale, North and Eastern European features and is Russian, Danish and German by descent. She is tall and modelesque. She has large blue eyes, a full mouth (her one feature that she loves the most.) It's not too large or overly pouty, nor do her lips look enhanced. She uses them, in combination with her eyes, to her fullest advantage at every opportunity. She has noticeable body issues, though she tries her hardest to keep them in check. She never lets herself gain too much weight, which is good or she'd never fit in all the clothes Mummy gets her from Paris.

History: Clemence Gamp never did anything without reason. She married Everett Parkinson IV for a reason. Gamps were no one and the Parkinsons were an affluent family, and Clemence had always wanted affluence. She had two children for a reason. Everett Parkinson V, to inherit the family estate, and Sophie, to connect their family to another society family. Quite the surprise then, was Clemence's third child nearly eighteen years after Everett and seventeen after Sophie, and Clemence Parkinson certainly didn't plan the pregnancy (her husband had been rather celebratory that night, though who hadn't been, what with the way the Rising was developing.)

Still, unexpected though she was, Pansy Evangeline Parkinson was welcomed warmly into the family. She fell in love with Pansy immediately. To be honest, having a baby gave Clemence a renewed sense of duty and more joy than she'd had in recent years. Everett would inherit the estate, Sophie would marry the boy from Beauxbatons and Pansy would be all hers. Clemence always planned for Pansy to be just hers. Everett and Sophie had already been brought up into society and sent to Hogwarts, and Pansy was Clemence's pet - to dote on and hand raise and mold just how she wanted, and not solely to inherit a household or get properly married (she would still get properly married, of course, but it wasn't nearly so imparitve as it had been with Everett and Sophie.) No, Clemence needn't worry about teaching Pansy any more than basic society functions - how to run a house hold, how to host a party, how to find a sutiable husband with a large wallet and how to carry on the good Pureblood name of Parkinson.

Clemence's plans for Pansy didn't change much when Everett joined the Death Eaters like his father. Clemence was proud of her son for growing into the man who would inherit all that she and her husband had worked so hard to pass on. Sophie had just graduated, a sparkling ring on her finger, and Everett was making progress in the ranks. There was a thrum in the air of society and their cause was rising by the day. Clemence couldn't supress the excitement she felt at raising Pansy in this wonderful new era. When her son was arrested, her husband promised it was through no fault of his own. Clemence knew it was anything but - he had been tested by the Dark Lord. There was a mission, she had been told that much. There was a mission for their cause and her husband had worked so hard to see that the task was given to their son. It had been his chance to prove himself and he had gotten himself arrested and nearly ruined their standing amongst Pureblood Society. She'd have much rather him died - at least it was have been a gentleman's way out.

Clemence trained Pansy to help run the Parkinson household. It would be given to Everett at his father's insistence (though Clemence doubted he'd be released. It was her only lapse in total faith for the cause,) but Clemence wanted Pansy to learn and when she and her husband were old and frail, her dear Pansy would see them safely through. Even after the Dark lord fell, Clemence didn't lose hope. Even when her husband was arrested, too - even when pieces of their property was seized, Clemence never lost hope. Both her Everetts would be redeemed, the Dark Lord would return and her dear girls would see her safely through it all.

Sophie married after a long engagement to the Beauxbatons boy (Clemence convinced her to wait the few extra months it took Pansy to master walking down an aisle and dropping rose petals so that she could be the girl,) and Pansy's life was otherwise uneventful until she started Hogwarts - and then there was that dreadful, Halfblood Potter.

Pansy loathed him with all the passion that her mother loathed him - and just like her mother, Pansy never did anything withput reason or purpose. She was a Parkinson, she was a Pureblood, she was a Slytherin. She was going to marry Draco Malfoy like her mother wanted - and though Clemence swore it was both she and Narcissa's plan, Pansy always thought that Narcissa Malfoy had never expressed that much interest in the match - though Pansy never said it! Pansy was a very obedient girl and she was a dutiful daughter. She always listened to Mummy and followed her advice. She understood where Mummy had come from and that everything had to be planned, perfected and seen through with the utmost passion to succeed, and Pansy certainly would never let Mummy or Daddy down.

Starting school, Pansy knew who to associate with - Draco tried to befriend Potter, but Pansy knew better, and though she forgave Draco for it, she always thought he was daft for even making an effort. She knew who the Blood Traitors were like the Weasleys and Longbottom and she never let her loyalties come into question.

Pansy did well in potions and was a favorite of her Head of House, Severus Snape. She loathed Divination and that binty old cunt unpleasant woman, McGonagall. She fit very well into her circle of friends and left no room for doubt in anyone's minds that she was not to be questioned. She made her family proud on numerous occasions at Hogwarts. She was made part of the Inquisitorial Squad and a Prefect, though Mummy was most proud of her date to the Yule Ball in Fourth Year. She never let Potter or his horrid band of lackies get to her (much.)

Seventh Year was one of her best years at Hogwarts so far as academia. She made nearly perfect grades (never mind the fact that they teachers had changed, two were Death Eaters with her father and Professor Snape was Headmaster. Merely a coincedence.) She stood up for her beliefs, made sure the Mudbloods were kept in line and mostly spent time gossiping with Daphne in the common room. Of course there were instances of anarchy in her perfect year, but the Carrows dealt with the rabblerousers quite well and Pansy was satisfied to see Draco and the other boys live up to their full potential by defending their beliefs. (She was also quite satisfied to not have to see Weasley or Potter or that horrible hair beast Granger.)

Pansy stood up for her mother's beliefs as well that year when she told everyone they should turn over Potter to the Dark Lord, and though Slytherin House had been dismissed by McGonagall first, Mummy gushed and gushed over how brave she had been. However, when several of her friends returned as reinforcements with Professor Slughorn, Pansy did not return. She didn't tell Mummy, but it was for the better good, and probably one of the first times she had made a purely selfish, solely Pansy decision. What good would all Mummy's years of training have been if she had gotten herself killed, or worse, arrested? She certainly couldn't marry Draco from Azkaban and Mummy always went on about how daft Everett and Daddy had been to get arrested.

After the war, Clemence made it her goal to get Pansy into higher standings in society, especially after Sophie celebrated her 37th birthday with still no children. Clemence, convinced that Pansy will now have to take on running the estate, began trying vigilantly to get her husband to change their wills and deeds to leave Pansy as sole heiress (though getting legal proceedings done while one's husband and current heir were already in prison was proving difficult.) Clemence has given up hopes on Pansy's marrying Draco Malfoy, especially after they went and defected at the end of the war, and has hopes that setting up Pansy to inherit the estate and fortune will make her a better marriage (though she and Draco would have the most beautiful babies, and very pure lines. That is to say, Clemence isn't really all that opposed to the union and still actively persues it - she's just keeping her pet's options open.)

And so Pansy spends most of her days doing what she's always done - preparing for a life that she's still not quite leading.

Personality: Pansy does what she is told. She is cold to anyone she doesn't need something from and those outside her closest friend would say she lacked warmth entirely. She is very much the boss (or at least thinks she's the boss) of her peers, and this stems from the fact that she is not the boss of her own life. She intimidates those she sees as lower than herself because her mother intimidates her. Every rude, hateful comment is retaliation for her inability to fully please her mother and whenever she has displeased Mummy, her friends are sure to know it. Pansy does not recognize any of this, naturally. These things are only understood through tireless sessions with mental therapists, and Parkinsons do not have therapists.

She is horribly insecure about her looks and constantly thinks she is gaining weight. Again, entirely to do with Mummy's disapproval for a daughter who is anything but lithe and ethereal. It is rare for anyone to see Pansy with her defenses down. Her entire life is a show for her mother's benefit and she is very rarely genuine (In the sense that she would sooner say what needs to be said than how she really feels. There are rare occasions that what needs to be said is what Pansy feels, and only a few people have been privvy to these unseemly moments of unguarded sincerity.) Each comment and action is part of a carefully constructed scene, and the only things not part of the show are Pansy's own inner thoughts. This isn't to say that some of her acting isn't genuine in nature. She was genuinely scared with Draco was hurt in third year and she genuinely loathes Hermione Granger... she's even pretty sure she genuinely has feelings for Draco. She has let her guard slip on occasion, though she tries her best to do better.

Occupation: Heiress to the Parkinson Estate (if her brother doesn't get out of Azkaban and Sophie doesn't have any children first.)
